Years ago I had a guy come up to my driver's window (open) and start raging at me. I had dared to give him a short horn for sitting through an entire green light cycle without moving. I cut the steering wheel to the right, put the manual gearshift in reverse, and brought the engine up well off idle. He shut up, looked down at the big radial pointed right at him, put two and two together, and went back to his car without another word. If he had even reached for me, he'd never have made it through the window. I'd have dumped the clutch and floored the V8. He'd have become a red stain.
Maybe if the victims had been on the city council, they would understand the need for police. But this won’t change their minds at all.
According to the story, the site was the parking lot of the Northwest African American Museum, https://www.naamnw.org/ The women were waiting for someone who had gone inside “breifly”. The shooter apparently was intent on dying that day via suicide by cop.
Now “they” set up a candle light vigil to memorialize him.

I read the story and a friend of the shooter said he knew 2 days before the shooting the guy wanted to die as suicide by cop...
This reminds me years ago,when a cougar killed a woman running on a path and the people set up a fund for the dead cougars cubs instead of the woman’s kids....I heard it on Rush...

The usual subjects are out protesting this poor poor black man killed by a racist police state. They don’t care it was a shoot out with the cops or that he had just killed a woman. Nope. He’s a victim of white supremacy and structural racism.
