Thanks... Awesome pixs...
Of course not the condition they actually were in...
And my Plymouth was a 4-dr sedan...
I’ll be showing these pixs to my grandsons and one of my great grandsons (who is 11)...
My great grand daughters wouldn’t be interested...

Second car, as a freshman in HS (1946-1947), was a 35 Ford I got in a swap for my first car (1927 Duesenberg converted to a farm truck) that I was given in 1944 when I was 11... As for the 1927 Duesenberg, did you really convert it into a farm truck??

"As for the 1927 Duesenberg, did you really convert it into a farm truck??" Not me...
The dairy farmer down the road cut the back end flat and built a truck bed on it when the war started and his old truck crapped out...
He let my younger brother and I drive it all around the pastures when I was 10... Eventually he gave it to me knowing that I was close to 12 soon and would be able to get my drivers license...
As a freshman in HS, I drove it 26 miles to school... The muffler was gone so it sounded like a firetruck... Girls would not date me unless I borrowed my Mother's car... She always said "No"...

I posted this pic along with the other luxury edition, but it vanished. Hopefully, this version will stay up.
Did it resemble this one? (coincidentally sitting out in a cornfield)
