I just paid over $1200 for one of my diabetes meds (3 mo worth). I have auto-immune stuff and years of meds have given me diabetes. My dr says I’m a “1.5” in that because of the meds, my body is producing less and less insulin. I avoid starchy carbs (pasta, bread, rice, potatoes, sugar). We have decent insurance and this was still shocking.
