Carano fell under heavy criticism after she posted that “Jews were beaten in the streets, not by Nazi soldiers but by their neighbors…. even by children.”
The actor continued to say, “Because history is edited, most people today don’t realize that to get to the point where Nazi soldiers could easily round up thousands of Jews, the government first made their own neighbors hate them simply for being Jews. How is that any different from hating someone for their political views?”
Carano, a former mixed martial artist whose Dune character used a mix of heavy weapons and her fists to best opponents, had been criticized for social media posts that mocked mask wearing during the pandemic and alleged voter fraud during the 2020 presidential election. she’s 100% correct.
Cancelled for a well-reasoned warning that is spot on. Sounds about right.
No. Disney is independent. Comcast owns Universal and a plethora of other labels, including DreamWorks. AT&T owns WarnerMedia and many other labels, including HBO. Add in Sony and Viacom/CBS (Paramount and many other labels) and you have today’s majors. And Netflix, when you turn to the streamers. There are still some independent mid-majors and the independents, but the industry is dangerously concentrated. The big problem in my mind is the vertical integration. As streaming swallows the traditional film industry, a handful of giant global conglomerates will dominate distribution. They will pay lip service to “diversity,” but it will be Disney style diversity.
Disney Plus isn’t cable. It’s a subscription streaming service.

How about in breaking monopolies? Because the natural end state of your hands off approach is rule by monopolistic corporations or cartels.
Pretty much like what we have now...oligarchy, and you're on the wrong side with the rest of us.
“How about in breaking monopolies?”
Monopolies are better broken by innovation, technology and the consumer, than they are by the federal government.
