So I heard a doctor on YouTube say Florida has the highest number of ‘New Variant’ cases and predicts a new wave, that should start there. But I’m not seeing it in the data - and I think the ‘low hanging fruit’ has already been exposed (I disagree with him)

It sounds political because Florida is a “free state” and Biden administration cannot allow that to happen.

I agree with you. All indications are both natural and vaccine immunity carry over to the new variants significantly. The new variant might slow the decline in new cases and deaths, but between vaccinations and natural immunity, the decline will continue. I suspect the "youtube doctor" wants lots of clicks.

#5. The real question is whether the “new variant” of the virus is killing a lot of people, or whether it is only affecting a lot of people with less fatal results than the original COVID 19 strain.

Can’t seem to find this kind of information right now.
