I’ve “karened” before by seeing the manager. Being screwed at a hotel or restaurant doesn’t sit well with me and I would defy anyone is more conservative than me. Complaining about being treated poorly or dealing with bad customer service doesn’t automatically make you a Karen. Being a Karen is not about sticking up for oneself when wronged.
They are about being a bunch of meddling control freaks who can’t stand that someone is doing something the Karens don’t think they should be.
