Hey Doodle I got a better idea for primary season. Just make every Republican publicly say they’d BE OK if Trump’s were made speaker. If not ok go with candidate B.

There has never been a Speaker who was not a member of the House and there never will be. Besides, why would Trump want the job?

I had heard that the Speaker of the House Rules was that it could be ANYONE.. and that the Speaker chooses Chairman of Committes and has a LOT of power to bring legislation to the floor. I think he would be GREAT... and then he could be President in 2024.
