I’m a veteran. Doesn’t make me an expert on anything like some veterans seem to think.
But what those guys are doing is wrong in every sense of the word. They have the opportunity to walk. They should.
They should let the powers that be, their civilian leadership, know that enough is enough. Let them know that they’re not the dudes in The Hunger Games guarding Panem.
Political pawns being used to instill fear and anxiety.
Most of them have no place in Biden’s or Austin’s military anymore. Realize that. Accept it. And do something about it.
Then go about it the right way instead of endangering our military. Most of our military will not re-up, but until that time comes they are not the least bit intimidating walking around the capital unarmed.
