We had a huge feral cat living nearby who was causing all sorts of problems. I was able to trap him and let him go in a nice spot 15 miles away with two freeways between him and our house. He was back the next morning. After he was run over crossing the street a few months later... we had an explosion of field mice and we wished we had him back.
