I don't doubt your assessment of the cell phone being able to penetrate whatever container they were in but I have no doubt that this was indeed a call for help by illegals in some sort of container that were suffocating to death.........
I don't find it useful to argue whether or not people are dying in a potential horrible situation.
The growing lack of humanity and compassion on this site is becoming disturbing........
Your choice: Accept any and all sob stories and let them in and let them stay OR You stand tall and firm and say No., sending them immediately back. This is a simple choice. So long as we accept the sob stories, give out work permits, freebies, and welcome mat, then they will keep coming.
If we were to process them, give them choice to return to Mexico after life-saving treatment OR if we must let them stay in the US, ABSOLUTELY NO WORK PERMITS. Release them to a responsible organization or person that accepts responsibility for their house, food, healthcare, etc.
