Given there was no supreme court justice to preside it has no standing.

The courts would likely not hear the case, because the Senate has the sole power to try impeachments.

They will just claim they can’t hear the case, because it’s a political question. Also “Orange Man Bad”.

Trump has already been removed. That’s one of the reasons this whole exercise is a kangaroo court.

Four paragraphs down: “Due to a legal technicality however, Mr. Trump will remain free.”
