The phrase “don’t give up the ship” gets new meaning. I hope RC can pull this off. Thousands of jobs are at stake and the Alaskan cruises running would be a welcome step toward normalcy.
I like to see the Cruise Lines starting to fight back. Something if they had done from day one IMHO would have them cruising again, as they are in some other countries.
Instead, they kissed the ass of our CDC and the politicians of many countries and made it worse for themselves by voluntarily adding further restrictions on themselves to placate the Authorities.
Right now our CDC hasn't told the Cruise lines what they should do to get started again. The Lines have been waiting for 4 months for explicit instructions from the CDC.
Of course if the CDC regs change to accommodate new variations of the virus , there will be no chance to sail from this country this year with the BIDEN GROUP in control.-Tom
