I’m told thrombocytopenia has been reported with vaccines in general.

I recall, during my residency, I was about to give a baby a MMR vaccine. An instant before it happened, the baby had a seizure.

Had I given the injection, twenty seconds sooner, the seizure would have been attributed to the vaccine.
