The Biden Department of Justice has started replacing Trump-appointed U.S. attorneys, the DOJ said Tuesday. The statement said: “Continuing the practice of new administrations, President Biden and the Department of Justice have begun the transition process for the U.S. Attorneys."

It’s well deserved. They were all deep-staters and most anything but Trumpers.
This is nothing new. With each new president, the attorneys submit a letter of resignation. The new president can either accept and appoint a new one. Or not accept and the attorney stays in place.
Not surprised. It has been a precedent since Andrew Jackson for a new President to replace the attorneys with his own.
Yeah, I was just going to say, this is not at all unprecedented.
In addition, the new appointees will be addressed as ‘people’s commissars’.
At this point in 2017 Trump had fired exactly zero US Attorneys and the caterwauling would have been deafening if he had.
Now our side rolls over and says no big deal as the Thief in Chief dumps them?
Says it all.
The firing of US Attorneys is what Rats always do when they are coming into office. (At least the advent of the Clintoon administraion was when I first really paid attention to it.) Maybe Carter, LBJ or JFk didn’t do it, but I don’t know.
