For me, word 12 opened up the puzzle

I figured out the last word first, as it seemed like the only passible one.

That gave me word #4 which begat #13 and then I started from word #1, and it went almost word by word after that.

BUT I DID IT ON PAPER WITH A PEN, SO I GET EXTRA POINTS.

That is what happened with me. After fooling around with it for a couple of minutes word 12 came into view and then it was off to the races.
