If you are over 60 or in poor health, the benefits of the vaccinations outweigh the risk. If you are under 60, you likely don't even need the vaccine.
This the epidemiology of Covid-19 death in Canada. 20,417 deaths out of population of 37.5 million, a death rate of 0.05%
Broken down as follows:
5 deaths (0.0%) are persons under 19.
30 deaths (0.1%) are persons between 20 and 29.
60 deaths (0.3%) are persons between 30 and 39.
151 deaths (0.7%) are persons between 40 and 49.
512 deaths (2.5%) are persons between 50 and 59.
The above deaths represent 0.002% of the population, a figure lost in rounding when determining total deaths.
1,546 deaths (7.6%) are persons between 60 and 69.
3,835 deaths (18.8%) are persons between 70 and 79.
14,278 deaths (69.9%) are persons 80 and over.
So this virus is clearly a flu that kills very old people and sickly or very sickly young people. That's why they aren't giving it to children... They clearly do not need it. More children likely die from the regular flu than die from Covid-19.
Vaccines are safe... If you are old or sickly, get the vaccine. If you are young, don't even bother.
Get off your high horse. This is not a normal vaccine. Secondary exposure death rates have been very high in lab animals... but they rolled it out to people just the same.
And the resultant sterility of women is just a bonus ... I guess
Those Canadian numbers are way off, based on low levels of Covid-9 diagnosis.
How pathetic - making definitive statements when there’s a lot of actual scientists who have no idea of how safe/unsafe the vaccines are - because this is the first time they have ever been approved for human use in this arena and have zero track record.
They aren’t even true vaccines by the legal/medical terminology as they supposedly mitigate symptoms rather than actually stop the virus and they don’t keep vaccinated folks from “potentially” harboring the virus and passing it on.
The major data gathering is underway now as they plunger the concoction into millions of arms.
They may turn out to be a good thing, but nobody here has the knowledge or authority to declare how dang safe they are.
