Why stop there? Let's trace the blame back to the Vikings, the Gauls, the Franks, the Visigoths, and the Huns.
Keep going back...what about the white supremacist Pelasgians, Anatolians, Illyrians, Dacians, Thracians, Camunni, Rhaetians, Lepontii, Adriatic Veneti, Ligurians, Etruscans, Celts, Rhaetians and Swabians, Vistula Veneti, Lugii and Balts? Don't forget the Normans, the Sicels and Morgetes, the Sicani, Elymians, Scythians and Sarmatians.
But this tack blames the symptoms (white people), not the disease. If we were serious about white supremacy, we'd blame Sol himself:
Where did fair pigmentation in present-day Europeans come from? Farmers carried a gene variant for light skin that's still around today. "There's an evolutionary argument about this - that light skin in Europe is biologically advantageous for people who farm, because you need to make vitamin D," said David Reich. "Hunters and gatherers get vitamin D through their food - because animals have a lot of it. But once you're farming, you don't get a lot of it, and once you switch to agriculture, there's strong natural selection to lighten your skin so that when it's hit by sunlight you can synthesise vitamin D."
Why stop there? God created the sun, cholecalciferol-D3 and the ability of the dermis to synthesize it from the sun's UV-B radiation.
OK, I've traced it back to the source...let's blame God. He will appreciate that and we'll all feel a lot better about this insanity we must endure every day.
The majority of humans on the planet have light-to-medium skin color. Think about it. Truly dark skinned people originate in sub-Saharan Africa and parts of the Indian subcontinent. Some Native Americans have what used to be called swarthy reddish skin. Almost everyone else is light to medium.
