I’m ignorant about this stuff; but early last year we lost OTA reception of two of our local television stations that we had reliably received for years. It seemed to happen after a high-rise apartment building near us put up a bunch of fancy antenna stuff on the roof...

I live 1.2 miles from a tower and it does that.

We can only still get one local DC channel here through the antenna anymore.
(And it’s definitely NOT the one that we prefer.)
It used to be was tested before being allowed to be imported into the US. It certainly is the case with radio equipment. Why aren’t offending electronics and lighting devices rejected?

When I lived 55 mi from Dallas a and 100 from ft Worth, I got 63 channels OTA with $35 antenna in the attic of a single story house.

We used to be able to reliably get Fox 5 here in DC on Livestream; when that ended, we could get it OTA. Then, about a year ago, everything got scrambled.
Nothing on Livestream anymore, and I think only ABC 7 OTA.
We mainly watched Fox 5 for morning news and weather (husband was a fan of Tucker Barnes.)
It’s been so long since we’ve been able to see it, 5 may have gone as nutsy as the other local channels have, so...maybe it’s no loss.
LED light bulbs are also offenders.
Maybe we just need a better antenna - the one we have was pretty cheap, but it worked so well for a long while that we didn’t worry.

Anechoic chambers can give you vertigo and cause you to pass out, this used to happen to a co worker, she would get very disoriented when entering a chamber, and boom.. she’s down.
