I’ve dined in fine restaurants where our tabs came to over $100 per person without alcohol. I regularly cook food that is the envy of much of my peer group. I have cooked for benefit meals we’re people paid $200 per seat and they claimed their meal was worth it. i’m not bragging, Hoover in the world of food I am nothing. I’m just giving you perspective before I tell you my opinion on Waffle House.
I love waffle house. It is America at its finest. White, black, Hispanic, etc. all work together bantering about their racial differences and just having a blast. Please make sure, the food is a bit greasy, and lowbrow for sure. But it’s fascinating how many of my friends who spend big bucks on fine food and tons of energy on cooking incredible meals, are quick to eat at Waffle House.
I like Waffle House, too. It’s “real”
IIRC, it’s also the go-to place for government officials to check to assess the level of a disaster. If Waffle House is closed, the disaster is BAD!

Actually, I have frequented WH many times. It’s not the best or worst. I prefer Huddle House slightly better but either will do.
