That’s absolutely a legitimate question to ask. 100%. Not to imply or suggest the vaccines DON’T provide sterilizing immunity, but to point out that it hasn’t yet been confirmed? Sure, I agree that’s totally valid.

We need new studies to know one way or the other. From what we can see in the levels of neutralizing antibodies, there should be no reason for vaccination failing to provide sterilizing immunity, but there’s no confirmation yet.

IOW, We need new studies to know throw more money at to pretend we’ll know one way or another.

Interesting that all of the solutions the left offers involve making lots of government money.
