Here is a preview for thinking Americans of some things to look for.
The U.S. Senate is scheduled to begin a trial on impeachment of Donald J. Trump officially announced for "the week of" February 8. According to C-SPAN, that means 1:00 P.M. EST on February 9, 2021. C-SPAN allows you to watch, live or whenever is convenient on demand, on a special web page.

The news media have been in a fit over whether or not Trump (his lawyers) will argue that the 2020 election was stolen. Don't bet the farm on Castor and Schoen being that brave, because most lawyers are really not. But typically trial lawyers would be mystified by the question "are you going to argue A or B?" As my law professor asked in a (pretend) stunned expression: "Why do I have to choose only one?" A good trial attorney would be required to hit and smash each and every accusation against his client, in a row. Leaving any accusation alive is not in a trial lawyer's DNA.
Amazingly, though, Trump's brief reminds us that the Democrats are actually required to prove that the election was not stolen. The articles of impeachment do not merely open the door and allow Trump to prove there was election fraud. They accuse Trump of falsely claiming there was fraud in the election, thereby inciting protests.
Can you cry "fire!" in a crowded theater? Well, is there in fact a fire? Then yes. A prosecutor would have to prove there wasn't any fire.
In order to prove their case, the impeachment managers are actually required to prove that Trump's statements were false. The burden of proof is on the Democrats to prove that there was no fraud anywhere in the election.

The people who should be on trial for “insurrection” are those who conspired to “fortify the election”. Alongside them should be everyone who instigated and approved of all the rioting across the country not just in 2020, but for several decades before that. They are the ones who incited the event at the Capitol by showing that there are no laws against rioting.

Half of the Republicans, as usual, are back to siding with the democrats. When they did that to MTG and left Cheney alone, I knew it was back to business as usual. They will not be on our side ever and they need to be voted out if possible. Not possible with the cheating. I wish I lived in McCarthy’s district so I could give him an earful. Our country is being run by a bunch of teenage mean girls. The Republicans are disgusting and have NO idea. They actually think they will be re elected once again, by turning against their own party and kissing the ring of Nancy. I’m so disgusted with them.
He can start by filing a quo warranto action against Harris on Monday. The Senate Resolution 511 (2007) stated that McCain was a Natural Born Citizen because he was ‘... born of American citizen parents ...’ among other things.
Harris was born of parents of foreign jurisdictions, who state her citizenship depends on her parents’ status.
She is unqualified to serve, yet the Senate voted to certify her election to Vice President.
With Harris removed from ability to cast a tie vote, Trump now goes after those who didn’t recuse themselves from certification of the election that they were elected in.
That would be true in a quo warranto court action filed in a fed District Court.
Immigration and tough on China policy.
More than that--they feared investigations, indictments, trials, convictions and prison sentences.
