President Biden said Friday that former president Donald Trump should not have access to classified information in the form of the briefings usually given to ex-presidents, citing Trump’s “erratic behavior” and the risk that he might recklessly reveal sensitive information.
Biden stopped short of announcing that he had officially decided to prevent his predecessor from receiving the briefings, which are traditionally given before former presidents travel abroad, particularly in an official capacity. But Biden has the unilateral authority to deny intelligence access to anyone he chooses, and his remarks amounted to a statement that Trump — who for four years controlled the entire U.S. security apparatus — was himself a security risk.
Denying the briefings to a former president would be an unprecedented action, and Biden’s remarks, made during an appearance on “CBS Evening News” with Norah O’Donnell, emphasized the president’s concern, and that of other officials, that Trump poses a risk to national security because of what he might disclose.

If you want to have nightmares, just think about Harris-Biden with total access to our former nation’s secrets...
The only reason a former POTUS would need a security briefing is if they were to be leveraged by the current POTUS for advice or assistance. As bitter as presidential politics has gotten, this is almost certainly going to be a vestage of a bygone eras. With Obama it probably never occurred since he was actively undermining Trump, and with Trump that wouldn’t occur because admitting Trump knew even a single thing of value would undermine the Biden administration.
The MSM is suggesting Biden has control over the miiitary, when in fact he does not.
Trump never conceded. In fact Trump wanted a big going away send off at Andrews. I think that "big departure ceremony" at Andrews was "like" an inauguration ceremony for his second term "complete with a red carpet, color guard, military band and even a 21-gun salute". Hail To the Chief was performed for Trump. That, ladies and gentlemen, is "unprecedented".
I searched for a military band playing Hail To The Chief for Biden, but they didn't play it for him.
1. The military didn't provide Biden with an inaugural parade, as is tradition.
What I found was a a video of a military 'marching band' with the intriguing title:
No, not Civil War Re-enactors. These are Revolutionary War re-enactors. 5 or 6 different (regular) troops march into view to the beat of Revolutionary War drums. No other musical instruments are present.
Here is the second group in the formation (the video starts after the first group passed)
These are the next two groups:
I would see Revolutionary War re-enactors only as the groups exit (they were in back).
Note at the 3 minute, 11 second mark a police officer hurries by on the sidewalk, urgently asking each of the few spectators present if the "Subaru parked back there" belongs to them.
Three flags were present (gold fringe on US flag):
Note the '1776' in large, prominent letters on the building in the middle of the picture. That will remain the focal point of this 'marching band'.
The troops will pivot sharply to face this building for long, silent periods, the first is about 2 minutes.
Then they are called to present arms with weapon held diagonally upwards across the body (about 20 - 30 second pose).
They come to what might be parade rest (butt of rifle on ground) still facing the 1776 building for about 2 or 3 minutes.
The flags are presented next to the building with 1776 lettering.
All they return facing right and march off. No music. Very Martial. Very much like a statement of resolve.
VERY big impression from that display; none of it having to do with inauguration.
Note the man on the left salutes.
(Above) Those in the other group of dress blues with white hats beyond the light pole on the left are not facing perpendicular to the direction they intiated with their march. Those back left white hats are facing at a 45 degree angle (facing the 1776 building) and are stand silently for a period of time. All troops in the street face the building in silence. Waiting. I think the message through out is one of waiting, and resolve.
(Below) Before the troops turn to leave, these men file past on the sidewalk. Note the last man carries a case.
Here's a better look at the man carrying the case:
Two groups of Revolutionary War Re-enactors, and drummers, bring up the rear.
Here's the 'marching band':
That's the end of the Army Marching Band honoring....Biden? Or the Spirit of '76 and the flag?
Things aren't what they seem, are they?
This is a game for now. I don't know the rules, but I know President Trump had a better "ceremony" on Inauguration Day than Biden, for some reason, mil honored 1776 to the beat of Revolutionary War drums.
2. The military didn't give Biden a 21 gun salute as is tradition.
The afternoon of the 20th, the MSM said his 21 gun salute was performed earlier in the day in Arlington.
I later watched that footage. Then someone pointed out that salute is performed for funerals. I then watched authentic 21 gun salute for Trump and compared it with the one the MSM pushed and they are very different.
SO now, when I checked for the link, this article says it was performed in the afternoon at Arlington, but it's still the slower paced funeral salute.
This one says it was performed ahead of Kamala and Biden's "visit"
The MSM was laughing at Trump's request that he receive a 21 gun salute at his departure at Andrews Air Base. I think he asked so that people could note what one sounds like. He knew the military would not supply one to Biden.
The volleys in the presidential salute occur closer together - sort of a knuckle biter compared with the funeral one. Ah well, things slow down in death. I also note the video at the link features Hail To The Chief for Trump.
3. The military didn't provide Biden with Marine One or Airforce One for inauguration day.
Instead, Biden arrived in an aircraft devoid of any markings, no flag, no country, no tail number. Gee, unmarked planes are usually reserved for clandestine CIA aircraft or other black ops.
Oh but President Trump took Marine One to Andrews Air Force Base, had the red carpet treatment etc. and then flew home on Air Force One.
Indeed, things just aren't what they seem, are they?
Biden gets intelligence briefings...
but none of them seem to stick
;)
He’s just jealous because he’s not receiving real intelligence briefings.
~Easy
Here is the C-Span of Trump's Andrews farewell where you can freeze frame at 29:01. Count the flags, fellow Patriot!
Of note, IMHO, is almost ANY other vid of the farewell, you will NOT see any view of all the flags at one time.

The quick little video below did a nice job comparing 3 second interval 21-gun salute with the MSM's so-called version of the salute for Biden's inauguration which is performed at 9 second intervals and is used for funerals or foreign dignitaries.
Compare - YouTube (little video is 1:32 minutes in length)
I don't know why the feed says "live" because the MSM initially said Biden's inaugural "salute" was performed earlier in the day at Arlington.
Oh well, they don't have to be accurate - they just make it up as they go along and foreign money will cover the bills when America tunes them out.
Technically, Biden is not getting intelligence briefings either as he completely forgets what they told him, twenty minutes later.
Why does Trump need them anyway watching Biden for 5 minutes will tell you he’s not cognizant enough to understand them himself
I looked up the video for the Bush funeral. They fired the cannons at about the same interval as they did for Biden
Xiden shouldn’t receive them either. Hop Sing is way beyond help from force feeding him intelligence. He’s permanently retarded.
At least Trump would remember then.
Says the guy who openly points out where the nuclear football is in public to large crowds.
Why would President Trump want anything from these creeps is the better question?
Trump was still President then - and it is certainly not unprecedented for Hail to the Chief to be played for the President of the United States. Indeed, had he attended Biden's inauguration, it would have been played for him as he entered the area - just like all other Presidents at the ceremony.
1. The military didn't provide Biden with an inaugural parade, as is tradition.
You say that, then go on to show pictures of them doing that very thing...but claim in effect that it "wasn't very much" as evidence what happened did not occur...even though it was highly publicized things would be significantly scaled down prior to the event due to COVID.
2. The military didn't give Biden a 21 gun salute as is tradition.
You say that, then go on to describe how it did in fact occur but supposedly not according to protocols to explain it away.
3. The military didn't provide Biden with Marine One or Airforce One for inauguration day.
Only the President of the United States can be on Air Force One or Marine One. You apparently don't even know what the terms Air Force One or Marine One even mean, yet offer commentary about it. Until and unless someone is officially President, he cannot travel on any apparatus with those designations.
Oh but President Trump took Marine One to Andrews Air Force Base, had the red carpet treatment etc. and then flew home on Air Force One.
Because he was still very much President of the United States when those events occurred. That is the only thing he could have taken to travel at that time.
I'd wager nether one of them could pass the investigation for a security clearance..
Wow! I didn't realize that his ability to retain info lasts that long.
Their aim was off, they missed him.
