Frozen anti-freeze is nothing.
Back when I was growing up, it got so cold at night that the fire in our fireplace would freeze. If we tried to throw another log on, the fire would shatter and send shards across our living room floor. We'd have to sweep them up before they thawed and burned our house down.

I remember those days...My mother used an ice pick to chip off a few shads and put them in a tin can to keep my lunch warm when I walked 6 miles to school....it was up hill in both directions in those days....
