Patents have patent numbers, which the article makes no reference to. Saying there are patents without calling out the numbers is like saying there is a book without mentioning either the title or the author. It's like saying there is a Super Bowl but failing to mention the teams involved. The author is either lazy or BSing and I really don't have time to track down which.
