You’re welcome, also IIRC the Diebold Election machines, which are now ES&S, used MS windows software and this was before the thought of internet hook-up. Given the “bugs” in MS windows made the machines susceptible from their inception. Diebold was never able to create the “synergy” they imagined, most importantly they were never able to incorporate the security features of their ATM lines with the election voting machines. The industry gossip was that the voting machine sector was a vanity acquisition of the CEO of Diebold, even though the company’s experience with voting machines was in Brazil, a far different animal than the US.
