Don't see how it's anything else. That gold thing is the doorknob. The edge of the door is obscured so we really don't know how far it's open. Door is next to the clock.

This is a good example of what you describe in post 1750. Someone posts an article or photo, or makes a declaration, expresses an opinion, or asks a question. People jump in with their observations and analyses, and others comment further based on what they’ve seen, read or discovered.
Very few of us get overly invested in our opinions because we’re open-minded researchers first, constantly looking for information that either supports or questions our position. The back-and-forth and challenges to our opinions and observations give us greater confidence in what we finally know because it’s been vetted by intelligent people who are paying attention.
