FDR was the worst, hands-down, for allowing agents of Josef Stalin to essentially take over the U.S. Government including strategic direction of the U.S. military.
LBJ deserves dishonorable mention for what he did.
Besides Carter the author also rated Wilson and Hoover with a zero, he gave FDR and LBJ a 1 which was what he gave B.O. which isn’t much better. His summation of all of them was “Disatrous for America.”
Besides Washington and Trump he also gave Coolidge a 10 all were “Great for America”. What hurt Reagan from being consider in the same group of Presidents was his immigration bill. He was still rated as a 9 out of 10 so still was “Great for America”.
Really is a good book that cuts through the PR BS and has a 10-15 page write-up on each President. Most overrated President, according to the author, was JFK “did little good but not much damage.”
