The comments to that song will warm your heart. A lot of people get it; about six thousand or so commented in agreement that we are now living out the words of that song. The Great Awakening indeed. The song is very sad that they hope their children will stand and fight while they stood still or words to that effect.
I read down some comments, didn’t read 6000 though. Did see that almost all agreed. Only thing I disagree with is that we are fighting and realize we have to fight; accordingly to ability. The war has to be won now. No waiting. Maybe in the mid 1980s when the song was written, it could have been won later on in time, but that time is now.
