It would be difficult, I suspect, unless there can be a some evidence as to the path it took to get to the computer. Those feds are pretty tricky.
I'd love to be able to make the computer "tamper-proof", but I suspect the only sure way is to not be connected to the internet.

we can't loose the facts of the matter though....MOST people are good...there are not boogie men behind every tree..the perverts have to be a tiny minority...
underneath the skin of people we feel are good and decent are actually people that are good and decent...
but a warning though....I would take care to keep your lives on the up and up, moral, ethical....the DS would take any little deviance and run with it...

When they identify someone sending/receiving child porn, they have to get a warrant to monitor the connection and catch the perp actually transferring the data. Once they have that warrant AND they see the actual transfer, they can then arrest. I believe at that point that any kiddie porn the perp owns can be used against him.
I don’t think they can plant the crap and bust them since there wasn’t any law enforcement monitoring the computer.
Of course, I am assuming that the law enforcement in question is on the up and up and is not looking to frame anyone.
The only reason I am familiar with this crap ... someone I grew up with was busted for possession and distribution of it ... I wound up getting the police report. That person is dead to me ... not only was their “thing” beyond disgusting, the person also, to this day, continues to lie about it (claimed he was downloading pirated movies and wound up getting it by mistake ... based on what he told the police, that was not true at all ... this person was always shady, but nobody that knew him ever suspected this at all aside from two of his ex girlfriends).
