Prayers up. I have had to go through it myself a couple of times now, it's never easy but you can take comfort in that you were there for her and gave her a good home and a happy life, especially for a rescue.

And I am sure that when the time is right for you, another precious animal that needs a home will be lucky to find you and your family, just like the puppy that picked us out a couple of weeks ago at our local shelter.
