My greyhound ate a whole raw chicken once, bones and all. I turned away for a second and it was gone. Then I saw her in the backyard wolfing it down with gusto. She also takes birds on the wing and disappears them.

We feed the ground beef and rice bland diet when they’re recovering from illness or injury, but they would happily eat it every day...

I add glucosamine/chondritin/MSM supplement for the older dogs and drastically improved their quality of life.

We had a beagle once who ate a whole wild live rabbit. We caught her in the act and tried to save the rabbit. The rabbit was half in and half out of the beagle’s mouth. The beagle swallowed it whole. Country living is never boring.
