Democrats are the party of make believe.
Through their domination of the media, academia, Hollywood, and growing swaths of corporate America, they successfully peddle propaganda as reality. They insisted President Trump was a dictator and a treasonous ally of Vladimir Putin who refused to denounce white supremacy. They dismissed questions about the business dealings of President Biden’s family as “Russian disinformation” that had been “totally discredited.”
When investigations and fact checks revealed those claims to be false, they just kept on repeating them. Tell a lie long and loud enough and many accept it as truth.
Having secured the White House and control of the Senate in the last election, Democrats and their allies are adding a strong dose of intimidation to their campaign of deceit. They are using social media to silence dissent from their views while creating blacklists to make it difficult for their opponents to find gainful employment. In a sign of how far gone they are, many journalists at influential outfits are now questioning the wisdom of the First Amendment and calling for government regulation of speech.
As cancel culture spreads, they gaslight the public by denying that it is happening. At the same time they argue that Republicans must be silenced and even “deprogrammed” because they are delusional liars. To conservative ears, the national discourse often boils down to this: Are you going to believe us or your lying eyes?

The party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command. - George Orwell, 1984
“Gas lighting” is the perfect term.
I saw the movie Gaslight, and could not stand it b/o the cruelty and hatefulness of gaslighting. End of movie I hated Charles Boyer. Nevertheless, everyone should see the movie
Damn straight!
With the blatant fraud that the Democrats committed in this election right in front of everybody’s eyes going on for days after the election the position “there is no proof” is not a terrible position to hold over the long term
We already have Sidney Powell is 270 page report and Peter Navarro’s excellent work and there’s no way that the Democrats are going to be able to hold their position that this election was installing
Now of course the court denied the very good Texas case and there really hasn’t been a hearing on any of the evidence that’s far in any court in the land many of these justices are intimidated and simply want to just try to shove this under the rug
But G! What do we have coming up here on Monday? Oh a full Senate trial of President Trump on impeachment charges that he incited a riot based on bringing people together to fight the election fraud
I fully expect President Trump will not only completely destroy their narrative that he caused the incursion in the capital but he will fully hear all of their election fraud with incredibly concise detailed and referenced facts and there’s gonna be nothing they can do about it because it’s going to be in the Senate chamber and they’re not gonna be able to shut him up
So my advice for Monday fellow frrepers is more 🍿 popcorn !
Gas lighting assumes the victim is slow witted and can be led to disbelieve what their senses are telling them. It is the ultimate degradation.

It is a terrible mistake to appease those who want control over other people. A “Truth Czar” won’t arbitrate truth.
