Time will tell, but it is my opinion, that most of the complaints are simply,”The nature of the beast”

The plumbing problems?
Workmanship?/Specs?/Design?
IIRC it was on a mechanical floor on an upper elevation?
Mechanical areas are usually surrounded by a parapet/ waterproof(?) area.
Also being on an upper level; lower pressure.
Must have been a catastrophic leak?
When I was a trainee, I ask the crusty old owner, why don’t we use some of the new stuff I learned about.
He said, “I’m not putting my name on unproven crap”.
Twenty years later... I hear about that “new stuff”, failing in far off locations.
