He did a good job of explaining the primer shortage. My friend in Ohio has been able to get some 100 primers per week from one large retailer. I haven’t found any, but I’m not reloading much anyway.
it’s a tough situation - Starting another production factory is expensive, and if the sales aren’t going to be there in the future to support it, then it’s not prudent to put up that big amount of money. I think of it a bit like a power plant. Costs a ton up front, but the cost is spread over the 40 years of operation. But if you can’t project the sales of the plant’s product over many years, then it’s not necessarily a good investment.
