I’ve never seen Manson being interviewed or featured without his stage make up on.

I have, talking about guitars. Oddly he seemed normal in the clip I saw.

Having worked a number of Manson's shows, and first hand witnessing things that took place backstage as well as the dressing room by him and his bandmates, I'm not even remotely surprised, nor should she have been.

On another note, I've also worked a fair number of Alice Cooper shows. His back stage was nowhere near as crazy. Definitely didn't see anywhere near the substance abuse I witnessed with the former. He used to try and fit in 18 holes of golf every morning.
