I compared deaths because that’s what we have hard data for. By the same token, you are assuming that surviving a Covid infection has no long-term ill effects on health. The truth is that there’s still no hard information on the non lethal effects of either infection or vaccination. There are some early indications though that Covid infection does cause cardiovascular issues. The choice is not play it safe and not get vaccinated vs risk the vaccine. It’s risk of vaccine vs risk of not getting vaccine. So far, the data indicates that the vaccine is the less risky choice.

That precisely is my point. The hard data is not complete for either side. Due to the politics involved, all the COVID data is jumbled and will take awhile to sort out as tohow many actually died from the virus alone as compared to those who died with complications from other health issues. What future health issues were caused by the COVID or due to other factors, such as medications used in treatment. The problem with the PCR testing also adds another wrinkle to the problem.
As far as the vaccine is concerned, tne trials did not go long enough nor were broad enough to establish what, if any, long term effects of synthetic mRNA on the human body. The pharmaceutical companies were given wavers to skip animal testing, which would have given some of that information. Subjects in the testing were mostly young and healthy, not the elderly who are the most likely to get vaccinated.
There were significant problems with the SARS-CoV-1 vaccine trials that did use animal testing. Likewise, there were significant problems with the swine flu vaccinations.
Given all this, I believe it is prudent to wait until more is known, especially if you have any autoimmune problem.
