Yesterday I was watching the news about how changing US policy would allow US tax dollars to go towards abortion funding both here and abroad after decades of policy otherwise. I found it rather sickening.
There must be an unfathomable darkness that surrounds the soul of someone so that they can choose to take the most innocent sweetness of a fresh-from-heaven soul of a baby and not give them the chance to breathe the air of earth and life.
Babies smile a lot, it seems they are dancing with angels!
I recall how it felt to carry a new life next to my heart; the amazing explosion of the birth of a little body that now carried my husband's and my heart in the beating throb of their own uniquely private heart. This it the most incredible gift from God, to keep life renewing itself in the likeness and image of not only their parents but the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY too. One night one of my babies could not fall asleep, I picked her up and sat in a rocking chair. I put her on my heart, and I sang her a soothing lullaby and gently touched her cheek with feathery soft touches. A soft whisper came to my soul from God, “while you hold your child in your arms I am holding my children in my arms”. As we rocked through the night knowing that God was keeping the atmosphere around us safe with the breathe of His love was reassuring.
As her struggle to stay awake left, she drifted into a relaxed state. Seeing her smile in her sleep gave me a deep contentment. The baby heard her mothers voice while the mother heard her Fathers voice. Soon my husband came and tucked us both back into our beds. As I lay in my husbands arms my motherly time with my baby gave me a drowsy all is well feeling and I too fell asleep.
The policy makers just don’t allow time to hear the small clear voice of God. Their loss will be eternal.

These people who advocate for abortion are true psychopaths. If they have no feelings for those in the womb, they'd better think about their own future then.
In another post, I happened to mention the thing in history that has taken the most lives and wanted to post something about it here. Historians and statisticians estimate Islam is responsible for the deaths of about 300,000 million people since its founding in the 1400s. And best estimates are 500,000 million lives were lost in all of the wars fought throughout history.
However, even after combining the two previous causes of human death and suffering, they still don't add up to the numbers of lives taken and suffering caused by the abortionists worldwide since the USSC legalized this evilest murder of humankind in 1973.
In less than 50 years, abortion has claimed the lives of over 60 million here in the US, and it's estimated 1 billion worldwide.
Truly this nation has set the standard for destroying lives in all of recorded history and is surely the future nation that matches the following prophecy:
And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.
I can think of no words to fully express how sad and distraught this makes me feel about a country I once believed to be the greatest country in the history of mankind.
