Looks like pork has been high since last Summer...up about 49% since then:

I don’t know. It’s been REALLY cheap here in northeast Oklahoma for at least a year. Pork roasts for $1 to $1.25 a pound. Pork chops well under $2/pound. I have half a freezer full of it. But bacon is higher than a cat’s back.
