About five years ago, I was looking to buy some pants from Sportsman’s Warehouse.
I wanted to try some on in their store to see how they’d feel while carrying in my IWB holster.
Out of courtesy, I voiced my intention to do so to the manager. Explaining that I didn’t want anyone freaking out, and my gun would have never left the holster.
I was told that they don’t allow loaded guns in their stores.
I asked, “What about those of us who are licensed to carry loaded guns?”
He said, “No loaded guns allowed in their stores.”
I never went back.
Here in Flag, the sign on the door just says to keep your carry gun holstered. Any gun out of a holster is to be in a rug or case, unloaded.
