That's big -- the energy of the tsunami spreads out 360° so the energy will drop off by half at square root of 2 of the distance (so, the tsunami at 10 miles from the energy source will be about double what it will be at 14.142135 miles, etc). On this side of the Pacific it must have been a lot of energy.
