Warning: 15 minute crappy video to discuss something that takes 10 seconds

~~~
They are ALLLLL like that!
I almost never even go on youtube anymore.
I used to binge youtube for hours back in the day.
Almost anything people put on there anymore is 1 minute of “please like and follow” then 5 minutes of hype, buildup, and back story, and 3 seconds of reveal, and that last part usually falls wayyyyy short of the buildup. Then they beg you to like again and click some link to another video.
I’ve been able to find songs to play on there but don’t use it for much else.
There are still plenty of good videos on youtube.
You have an option to tell youtube not to suggest certain videos. On the video suggestions, there are three vertical dots to the right of the video title. If you click on those dots, you get a menu of options concerning that video where you can choose "Not interested," or "Don't recommend channel." You can also report the video. These are in addition to the options that let you save the video.
I just told youtube that I do not want MSNBC in my suggestions. I'll follow that up with removing other MSM channels from my video suggestions, until I only have OAN and other more reliable channels left for news.
