I have not tried Movim yet. I don’t do social media (unless you count FR as social media). Never had Twitter or FacePalm.
I think you can set it up so that only a group of chosen members can participate in your site and circle. My first impression of movim is a fancy zeronet.
What I don’t know yet and still need to explore is if it is encrypted like zeronet or not. I don’t do facebook or Twitter either. Never liked the “follow” concept. Always liked the full community of a forum like here.
Appreciate you sharing it and thought it was worth experimenting with for future knowledge. It may be possible to set up a similar forum in that also. But just wanted to share that important note in case anyone else gives it a shot. :)
