My heart and prayers goes out to you and your family member.
Our dogs are loved members of our family. When a sweet wonderful pet is dying our heart just breaks. Our previous rescue had cancer and we did everything we could to keep her alive but the day we dreaded arrived. I was taking her on her morning walk when she collapsed. I called the vet and took her to his office. My husband and I held her in our arms as she was euthanized. We cried for days, she was cremated and her remains are in a wooden box in our home.
