I have 4 dogs right now...2 Irish Wolfhounds, a Berger Picard and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who is a stray.
Yes, I also think about what would happen to my dogs if something happened to me. My husband would care for them, but if he goes first, there’s no one. My family and his family aren’t dog people.
I’m asking God to take me when I’m out of dogs. I hope that’s not too long a period because I’ve had a dog since I was 5 and can’t picture my life without one.
Maybe you could adopt mature dogs. That’s what I’m going to do when my Wolfhounds go to Heaven.
