Right now, its not really the best solution for those in dense urban centers with very fast fiber at the kerb like Manhattan. Its great for rural folks and those in sparsely populated areas with no high speed internet.
However, as more satellites are launched, the speed will increase sharply, and the price will inevitably come down.
They've only launched about 1 thousand satellites so far, out of the targeted 42,000.
