No way on average can a blue collar worker switch to coding... it requires a college degree... and... even in this field the H1B visa are taking over...

So even if they manage to get the degree... it is hard to get your foot in the door given the big in-sourcing companies control the supply... and the increasing numbers are foreign workers...

Project Management is a better alternative... but that to is hard to break into... but it is sti dominated by Americans...

H1Bs started taking over in the tech field after Y2K. UPRR had a bullpen of these smelly foreigners. Couldn’t go into their area without a can of fabreeze. We knew the gig was up after that.

It sounds like a project manager is a highly skilled individual with many years of experience, leading a team to meet specific goals for a company.

Can one actually earn a degree in project management?
