I cannot say for sure that the PSYOP is beginning to dissipate, because I tuned out the "news" (other than financial) a couple of weeks ago.
But I strongly suspect it is on it way out.
The last time there was a coup d'etat in America, the "beneficiary" (cui bono?), LBJ, became so wildly disliked he decided not to accept his party's nomination for a second term, and retired to his ranch where he became a hermit and drank himself to death.
