That’s what I told the kids to do with my ashes.
I don’t want obituaries or memorials and I sure as heck don’t want people dragging my ashes all over the place in one of those creepy urn things.
Like the girl says in True Grit “The spirit has flown”.
I want my loved ones to move on quickly and live life to the fullest and be happy.

That was funny...
Some cemeteries have "scattering gardens" for ashes...However, a person would actually bury ashes in the garden...Not actually scatter them...

I don’t see why not, given that it’s just ashes, and thus, aseptic. I don’t know the rules on that. Hell, they allowed Ted Bundy’s ashes to be scattered on some Washington State mountain....
