Yes, and you do want the sweetened type. Read where the sugar enhances the therapeutic value. Normally sugar is bad for the immune system.
OT...they had a sale of large whole cranberries right after Thanksgiving...$0.50 a bag...bought several and am making a lot of cranberry juice...it requires a lot of sugar...
Hmm. I read, on several online medical sites, including mayo clinic I think (should I laugh I get med advice online??) that one should get the unsweetened type. I just got over a UTI (took about 5-7 days). I took antibiotics and ate yogurt and drank a very small amount of cranberry juice. It was unsweetened, tasted horrible. Hard to get myself to drink any.
