Whatever keeps me from having to wear that Dmnd mask. Had to get the Pfizer vaccine for work so might as well celebrate with a cruise as soon as one opens.

You may still have to wear a mask on the Cruise ship!

Lets say you get on a smaller cruise ship than normally carries 2,000 passengers plus an 800 member crew = 2,800 people. And everyone onboard is vaccinated.

To be on the safe side they go with 60% capacity. 2,800 x .60 = 1,680 people onboard ,passengers and crew.

They claim a Covid vaccination is over 90% effective.
Lets say 93% effective.
1,680 people onboard all vaccinated times 0.07 = 117 vaccinated people not protected from catching Covid..

Just one or a couple of Covid cases in that 117 group onboard could cripple the cruise when our CDC is notified.

This is what the Cruise lines will be facing so I expect onerous preventions of Covid to continue onboard. -Tom
